Cabernet Franc Rosé 2016 – Limited Edition Library Wine
This wine is sold at our Queensbury Production Facility, and online, as well as for pickups at our Lake George & Bolton Landing Tasting Rooms.
What is a Library Wine?
In 2014, we began setting aside four cases of our best dry varietal wines, each of that particular vintage year. Stored in the proper conditions (in a cool, dark place, arranged on their side), just for you, we have been saving four cases of each ever since!
How did we decide which wines to put in the Library?
There's a different and special reason for choosing a library wine – whether we had only created a limited supply or the wine sold out too quickly, it was immensely popular or it won a particularly notable award in its vintage year. Each wine is chosen for a unique reason.
This wine sold out in record time - just a few weeks!
VERY limited release. Only 4 cases available!
This medium bodied, dry rosé wine offers aromas of blooming cherry blossom followed by distinct wild strawberry tones and a touch of green bell pepper, following through with a refreshingly tart, lingering finish.

The grapes for this Cabernet Franc Rose vintage were harvested in the Finger Lakes of New York.
The Cabernet Franc grapes are pressed immediately, whereas our red wines we let ferment in bins with skins on for 2 weeks. This is what gives the wine the light color of pink and a lower level of tannins than traditional Cabernet Franc dry red wine.
Food Pairing Notes
Our Cabernet Franc Rosé pairs well with a multitude of dishes, ranging from shellfish and seafood, light salads, tapas and charcuterie, to rich dishes prepared with the strong flavors of cheese, garlic, basil, rosemary and olives.
