Are you doing wine tastings?

Yes. We are now offering wine tastings at our 3 locations. Reservations can be made in advance through our booking system, TOCK, and must be paid for in advance. Walk-ins are welcome but VERY limited and based on availability; we reserve the right to ask you to return at a later time / date if no space is available. Space is EXTREMELY limited, due to capacity restrictions, we can only accommodate parties of 2-4 people in Lake George and Bolton Landing, and 2-6 people in Queenbsury.

Wine Slushies and food are not CURRENTLY available at Queensbury.

Refunds will NOT be given for missed / canceled tastings (with the exception of weather-related cancelations at our Queensbury Winemaking Facility - a decision which is made by Adirondack Winery staff ONLY). Due to capacity restrictions, children are not allowed at any of our 3 locations at this time. Do you charge for a wine tasting?

Yes, for a nominal fee you get to taste several different wines and get a free souvenir glass to take home with you. Dessert wine tastings, plates of cheese, chocolates, and wine slushies may also be available to enjoy with your tasting at an additional nominal charge. Do I have to make a reservation?

Reservations for wine tastings are not required but are strongly encouraged if you want to guarantee your spot. You can book a wine tasting through our reservation system TOCK by clicking here. Maximum party size at our Lake George and Bolton Landing Tasting Rooms is 2-4 people; parties of 2-6 people can be booked at our Queensbury Winemaking Facility. We will not be booking groups larger than 6 people at this time. 

How do I make a reservation?

Please click here to use our reservation system, TOCK. You can book a Party Package for a special occasion online by clicking here. Or you can submit a Tasting Session reservation request for your group of 8+ by e-mailing your request to ilovewine@adirondackwinery.com or calling 518-668-9463 and an Adirondack Winery representative will respond to your inquiry or return your call as soon as possible. Please note we do ask that reservations are made 2 weeks prior to your visit.

How many people can I bring with me?

Right now, we are currently accepting reservations for 2-4 people at Lake George and Bolton Landing and 2-6 ppl at Queensbury. Due to social distancing guidelines, we will not be accepting parties larger than this at this time, but please feel free to break your group down into smaller parties for easier accommodation.

How are wine tastings different in light of COVID-19?

We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our Tasting Rooms, but we have added extra steps in light of health department recommendations. Our Tasting Rooms are also now "touchless" for the health and safety of both our guests and staff. Each tasting area will be cleaned after every wine tasting session. Hand sanitizer will be readily available. We have always given a souvenir glass with every wine tasting, but guests will now be required to take the glass with them after use. Visitors will be socially distanced at the Tasting Rooms. You will also be asked to wear a mask when you are not eating or tasting wine. Employees will also be wearing masks when serving and working in the Tasting Rooms.

Do you have a public restroom?

We do not have a public restroom at any of our 3 locations, and due to COVID-19 guidelines, we will not make any exceptions to this rule. 

Do you accommodate large groups and bus tours?

Do you host bachelorette, birthday or other special occasion parties?

Yes. We offer a special occasion party package (see details here), popular with bachelorette and birthday party groups. Space is reserved on one side of our tasting bar for your event. Please note, a party package is not a private party, as we do not have a private room at our Tasting Room. Please view our party package and group reservation policies for more.

Do you host private parties or business meetings?

We normally accommodate private parties in our Bolton Landing Tasting room but we are now planning for future parties only. Pricing is dependent on the size of your party and time/date of your event. Are kids allowed?

Due to social distancing and a extremely limited capacity at our facilities, we ask that you do not bring children to the Tasting Room at this time. We are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will families with children at the Tasting Rooms as soon as it is safe to do so. We have always taken great pride in being a family friendly attraction and we hope to return to that soon.

Are ALL of your wines sold at your tasting rooms?

From our Lake George and Bolton Landing Tasting Rooms, we ONLY taste and sell our wines made from New York grapes. Click on this link for location information and click here to learn about our wines. 

We also make a selection of non-vintage wines that are available for purchase from our Queensbury Headquarters location, on our website, and through liquor stores; but these wines are NOT available for tasting or sales from our Lake George or Bolton Landing Tasting Rooms. What is the best time to visit the winery?

Our Tasting Room is open all year, so no matter when you visit, you'll have a chance to stop by. Our busiest times tend to be between the hours of 12pm and 8pm, and weekends tend to be busier than weekdays. View our current store hours to plan your visit. 

Where is your wine made?

We are a fully licensed New York State Winery. Our winemaking facility is in Queensbury, NY. At this facility you will find wine-making equipment commonly seen in large commercial wineries; but on a smaller scale.

Do you have a vineyard?

Adirondack Winery does not have its own vineyard. Our award-winning wines are born from the finest quality grapes sourced from farm vineyards across New York state. This method allows us to offer a much broader selection of quality wines (35+ varieties) than is typical of a traditional commercial vineyard winery.

Can I see your winemaking facility?

Is the tasting room like a wine bar?

Adirondack Winery Tasting Room is not a wine bar. Our NYS Liquor License does not allow for pouring wine by the glass. We do provide a limited amount of seating for wine tasters and we have a few extra seats on hand for the injured or handicapped.

Does Adirondack Winery serve food at the tasting room?

Adirondack Winery's Tasting Room is not a sit-down restaurant. We do offer some great complements to the wine tasting, on a small scale, that include cheese plates, wine tasting crackers, chocolates, and occasionally other goodies. (There are currently no food options at our Queensbury Winemaking Facility. Sorry for any inconvenience.)

Can I bring my own food to the Queensbury location?

Adirondack Winery does not allow take out food or picnic food at our Queensbury location due to sanitization reasons. Our Queensbury location offers Wine Tastings and limited add-ons only.

Do you sell wine accessories and gifts at your store?

Yes. Adirondack Winery's store front features a wide range of unique wine-related accessories and gifts; more than is typically seen at a traditional wine shop; in fact we have repeatedly been voted as the #1 gift and souvenir shop in Lake George! Follow this link to see some of the products we offer online - there is much more available at the Tasting Room.

Can you ship wine to my state?

Currently, we can ship wine to AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, ME, MD, MN (phone orders only), MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WI, WY, WV. Order Online Now>>

Do you have an email newsletter?

Yes. Sign up for Adirondack Winery's Inner Circle! You will be privy to special discounts, be the first to hear about winery events, sales, new wines coming out, and will get entered into our monthly $25 gift certificate drawings - we offer a special birthday deal, too! Don't worry, we don't send emails too often!

Do you have a wine club?

Yes. Our wine club is called The ADK Wine Club and it is available in 3 different membership types. Members get 3 wines of their taste preference delivered directly to their door (or picked up at our Tasting Room) 4x per year; complete with lots of membership perks! Check out our options here.

If a traditional wine club isn't for you, we offer the Adirondack Winery CASE CLUB. When you buy a case (12 bottles) of wine online or in-store; you automatically become a case club member and are enrolled into our Case Club, which has all the same perks of our Wine Club! Find out more here>>

Do you offer custom labeled wine services?

Does Adirondack Winery give donations?

Yes. As Adirondack Winery values its place in the community, we wish we could donate to any and all causes, but being that we are a small, family-run business, we have a limited donation fund and do our best to disperse those funds in a positive manner. So long as you meet our Donation Criteria and  complete our Donation Request Form we would be happy to consider donating to your cause!

Do you host or participate in wine tasting events?

Adirondack Winery hosts several events at its Tasting Room. There's usually a special event every month of the off-season (October - June), as well as fun regular events like our Uncork & Craft event series.

Each April or May, Adirondack Winery hosts its biggest event of the year at a nearby facility or hotel... its Annual Anniversary Celebration - where the wine flows freely along with wine infused foods, wine giveaways, games, and more! Don't miss it!

You will also see Adirondack Winery at a Wine Festival near you across New York State.. we are at a Wine Festival or special tasting almost every weekend!

Can I bring my pet to the winery?

Unfortunately, our Tasting Rooms are not equipped for pets. We are a licensed Winery Tasting Room and Food Processing Facility in a very small space. If you plan to come with pets, please be prepared to have someone sit outside with your pet while others in your party taste and shop.
