ADK Winery President Sasha Pardy Appointed to NYWGF

Adirondack Winery President Sasha Pardy Appointed to New York Wine & Grape Foundation Board of Directors

Recognized Hospitality Leader and Founder of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival to Help Guide the Future of New York’s Wine Industry

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — July 6, 2026— Adirondack Winery is proud to announce that President and Co-Owner Sasha Pardy has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF), the statewide organization dedicated to strengthening and promoting New York’s grape and wine industry through marketing, research, education, sustainability, and advocacy. Established by New York State in 1985, the Foundation serves as the leading voice for New York’s wine and grape industry and works to enhance its competitiveness and reputation around the world.

Pardy began her three-year term on July 1, 2026, joining a board comprised of winery owners, grape growers, researchers, distributors, and industry leaders from across New York State. The Board of Directors provides strategic oversight for the Foundation, helping guide initiatives that support the growth and long-term success of New York’s wine and grape industries.

The appointment comes at an exciting time in Pardy’s career. Earlier this year, she was recognized by the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) as one of its 2026 “10 Women to Watch” in Hospitality, an honor celebrating emerging female leaders who are shaping the future of New York’s hospitality industry through innovation, leadership, and impact.

As President and Co-Owner of Adirondack Winery since its inception in 2008, Pardy oversees sales, marketing, customer experience, and business development for one of New York State’s largest craft wineries, as well as sister brand, Extreme Heights Cidery. She is also the founder of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival, one of New York’s largest consumer-facing wine and food festivals.

Pardy just celebrated the successful 10th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival, held June 27-28 in Lake George. The milestone event welcomed nearly 6,000 attendees and showcased more than 120 New York wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries, artisan food producers, food trucks and more in Lake George. The festival has become one of New York’s premier tasting and sales events, generating millions of dollars in tourism spending while highlighting the quality, diversity, and innovation of New York’s craft beverage industry. It also reflects Pardy’s longstanding commitment to promoting New York wines and supporting the small, family-owned producers that are at the heart of the industry.

“Sasha Pardy is exactly the kind of forward-thinking industry leader NYWGF needs. I’ve admired her work over the past decade building Adirondack Winery and the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival into two of the region’s biggest success stories—she’ll be a tremendous representative for the Upper Hudson AVA.” — Sam Filler, Executive Director, New York Wine & Grape Foundation

Pardy brings more than a decade of nonprofit board and industry leadership experience to the Foundation. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB for more than 15 years, helped establish both the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail and the Upper Hudson Valley Wine Trail, and previously served on the board of the Adirondack Ballet Theater.

Her commitment to community extends well beyond the wine industry. Under her leadership, Adirondack Winery has been a flagship sponsor of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Adirondacks for more than a decade, helping raise over $150,000 to support breast cancer research and patient services. Through the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival, Pardy has also helped raise more than $100,000 for local nonprofits, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Soroptimist International, and the SUNY Adirondack Foundation.

“I’m incredibly honored to join the Board of Directors of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation,” said Pardy. “For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of introducing hundreds of thousands of people to New York wines through Adirondack Winery and the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival. I’m excited to help champion our state’s wineries and growers, strengthen New York’s reputation as a world-class wine destination, and ensure our small family-owned producers continue to thrive for generations to come.”

The appointment comes at a pivotal time for New York’s wine industry as producers continue adapting to changing consumer preferences while building on the state’s growing reputation for producing world-class wines. Pardy’s experience in direct-to-consumer sales, hospitality, tourism, marketing, and experiential events brings a unique perspective to the Foundation as it works to expand awareness of New York wines and support the continued success of wineries and grape growers across the state.
