Winemaker Notes
The quintessential New York red. Cold hardy and ripens well. The signature note with this wine is typically bell pepper both on the nose and palette. Great fall food pairing wine as it goes well with pasta and bbq dishes. Fun fact: while not as well known as Cab Sauv or Merlot, it is actually the parent grape of both of these.
Food Pairing Notes
A versatile food pairing wine, try our Cabernet Franc with tomato-based dishes, barbecue, rich veggies with herbs, and soft cheeses like goat, fontina, & more.
