Aged in American Oak Barrels for eight months, this Chardonnay opens with a delightful toasted oak aroma with undertones of fresh thyme. The first sip of this reserve wine delivers crisp green apple flavors that quickly mellow and blend with pleasant buttery tones and a lasting oaky, vanilla finish.

Winemaker Notes
This wine evolves from year to year which is fun for our winemaking team. This 2022 vintage was the first year we integrated some French barrels into the blend at 15% compared to 85% American. As well, we have started to play around with how old the barrels are, with 14% being new barrels, 43% being 1 year old and 43% being 2 years old.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair it with rich dishes like steak bearnaise, veal or lamb chops, and decadent shellfish and risotto - sharp cheddar or blue cheeses also pair well.
Other Notes
Label Image: Indulge in the tranquil quiet of the Adirondacks at a special spot for two overlooking Lake George.

Wonderful oaky taste. Difficult to get since you can't ship to my state but well worth the wait.

I've had a lot of chardonnays in my life but this is the one I keep dreaming of. It was honestly the best I've ever had. I had it first at a wine festival and bought a couple of bottles, but unfortunately it's not sold in any stores in the New York City area. Please sell this truly unforgettable wine in more stores!

You can't fix perfect. This wine is not overdone or to 'Oaky' but just enough to make it stand out as a great wine.

We love this oaky, buttery barrel aged Chardonnay. It hits that “sweet spot” between the classic whites and reds, and pairs well with many types of dishes.
