This dry rosé offers earthy and fruity notes on the nose. This wine opens with smooth, but tart flavors of ripe raspberries with a little spiciness; followed by strawberry jam notes and a light tannic finish.
DOUBLE GOLD: 2021 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition (2020 vintage)
The grapes for this Lemberger Rosé were harvested in the Finger Lakes of New York.
The 2020 harvest season brought a new and exciting opportunity for the winemaking team to create a Lemberger Rosé on the heels of winning, Best in Class of Lemberger’s, for our 2018 Stargazer. The first thing noticed with this Rose is its unique color. Rather than a dull pink, this wine exudes a gorgeous fuchsia that was a result of an 18-hour soak followed by saignee. A wonderful balance of berry and apple notes blend well with the earthy tones seen in this wine on the nose.
Food Pairing Notes
Our Moonlight Lemberger Rosé pairs well with rich and cheesy dishes of any variety...we're talking melty mac 'n' cheese, grilled cheese, wood-fired pizza, and more!
