When are you open?

• We do not take appointments. If you have a large group (15+), we may be able to accomodate you at a typically slow time, but our ability to do this is limited during the busy summer season since our tasting bar is so small. 

Are kids allowed in the winery?

• Well behaved children are welcome at the winery. Currently, we don't have anything to entertain them while they wait for you; however, we get children in all the time and they are usually just fine. The tasting takes about 15+ minutes, depending on how quickly you taste :) We do have chocolates and cheese plates available (and usually free lollipops)...which tends to satisfy the kids while you taste.

Do you make your wine on-site?

• Yes.  We are a fully-licensed Winery.  Our wine-making facility is located at the back of our retail store; where you will find wine-making equipment commonly seen in commercial wineries; but on a much smaller scale.

Do you have a vineyard?

• Adirondack Winery does not have a vineyard.  We manufacture our wines from high quality grape product sourced primarily from California vineyards, which allows us the ability to make 35+ different wine types.  
• This practice allows us to provide our customers with a much wider variety of wines than the usual vineyard, and means that you won't be tasting only New York grape wines, even though you're visiting a winery in New York state.

• Yes, one wine tasting session costs $5.00 -- you get to taste several different wines and get a free souvenir glass to take home with you. Dessert wine tastings and plates of cheese to enjoy with your tasting are available at an additional nominal charge.

Can I tour your wine-making facility?

• Our wine making facility is viewable through a window at our tasting bar. However, at slow times, we may be able to accomodate requests to take you into the wine making facility and briefly explain how the process works....

Do you sell wine accessories at your store?

• Yes.  Adirondack Winery's store front features a wide range of wine accessories and gifts; more than is typically seen at a wine shop.  Click this link to check out just some of the items we offer.
• Please shop our store and pick up a wine-related item you may need; pick up a gift for a loved one, or take home a souvenir of Lake George.
• The BEST souvenir is to buy a bottle of our wine, as each Adirondack Winery label features original photographs or artworks of the Lake George region.  After you've drank the contents, make it into a candle or flame light with accessories we have at the store.

Can you ship your wine to my state?

• Currently, we can ship wine to AK, CA, FL, ID, LA, MO, NB, NV, NH, NM, NY, ND, OH, OR, VA, VT, D.C., and WV.

• We are looking for wine / liquor store suggestions that are located IN NEW YORK, very close to the border(s) of PA, NJ, MA, or CT. -- Please EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE A SUGGESTION.

Do you have a wine club?

• Yes.  Please follow this link for details on joining the Adirondack Winery Inner Circle, which puts you on our email list. You will be privy to special discounts, and be the first to hear about winery events, sales or new wines coming online. DON'T WORRY WE WON'T EMAIL YOU TOO OFTEN!

Will you custom-make wine for my own enjoyment, a special event, wedding, family reunion, fundraiser, or corporate function?

• Yes.  Please follow this link for details to learn how to get custom-made and custom-labeled wine for your wedding, gifts for friends or relatives, or business and client gifts.

Does Adirondack Winery serve food?

• The only thing we serve with the wine tasting is small plates of cheese for an additional fee. However, we do have a great selection of specialty food items, gourmet cheese, handmade chocolates, Wine Ice Cream, and more available for purchase.  
• Customers enjoy buying a bottle or two of wine, cheese, wine ice cream, and some food items, and a wine picnic tote we have available in the store to take it along on a picnic at your favorite Lake George spot. 

Do you host wine tasting events?

• Yes.  From time to time we will host a wine tasting event that may include live entertainment, food pairings, and an opportunity to socialize with fellow Adirondack area wine lovers.
• To be notified of any future events, please join the Adirondack Winery Inner Circle and we will notify you by email.
• If you are interested in a private wine tasting event; currently, we can only accomodate such requests in the off-season at limited times.
