When are you open?

Do I have to make an appointment?
No appointments necessary for parties under 8 people. Come in anytime...we offer tastings during all of our operating hours. For groups of 8 or more, reservations are preferred. Please call ahead or email us: ILoveWine@AdirondackWinery.com
Do you accommodate large groups and bus tours?
Yes. Reservations are Required. We can now host a maximum of 50 guests at a time at the Tasting Room. During our busier season (May-October), special arrangements may need to be made. E-mail us at: ILoveWine@AdirondackWinery.com for more information.
Do you host Bachelorette, Birthday or other Special Occasion parties? Or Business / Organization Meetings?
Yes. We offer a special occasion party package (download details here) that has become very popular with bachelorette and birthday party guests. What we do is reserve space on one side of our tasting bar for you to enjoy your time together, but it is not a private party, as we don't have a private room at our Tasting room.
During the off-season (After columbus day to before memorial day), we will consider private party requests for groups of 20 - 45 people; where we would work out a price to have the tasting room open for your private group, but only during after hours times. please email us to discuss.
Are kids allowed in the winery?
Well behaved children are welcome at the winery. Currently, we don't have anything to entertain them while they wait for you; however, we get children in all the time and they are usually just fine. The tasting takes about 15+ minutes, depending on how quickly you taste :) We do have chocolates and cheese plates available (and usually free lollipops)...which tends to satisfy the kids while you taste.
Where is your wine made?
We are a fully-licensed New York State Winery. Our new wine-making facility is located on Big-Bay Road in Queensbury, NY. Due to an increasing demand for our wine we had to move our wine making off-site to a facility 4 times larger than our wine production facility was at our Lake George store location. At our wine making facility you will find wine-making equipment commonly seen in commercial wineries; but on a smaller scale.
Do you have a vineyard?
Adirondack Winery does not have a vineyard. We manufacture our wines from high quality grape product sourced primarily from California vineyards, which allows us the ability to make 35+ different wine types. This practice allows us to provide our customers with a much wider variety of wines than the usual vineyard, and means that you won't be tasting only New York grape wines, even though you're visiting a winery in New York state.
Do you charge for a Wine Tasting?
Yes, one wine tasting session costs $5.00 -- you get to taste several different wines and get a free souvenir glass to take home with you. Dessert wine tastings and plates of cheese to enjoy with your tasting are available at an additional nominal charge.
Can I tour your wine-making facility?
No. Due to the relocation of our wine-making to our new facility we are not offering tours at this time.
