Top 7 Adirondack Winery Summertime Wines

Sometimes a nice chilled glass of wine is all you need on a hot summer day. Whether it's a day at the beach or an evening BBQ, here are our 7 favorite summertime wines...and some awesome recipes and tips to go with them!

Lemon-Raspberry Rose Spritzer1. Cabernet Franc Rosé (Dry Rosé)

Our newest wine, this dry Rosé is truly a summertime delight! Medium bodied, with aromas of blooming cherry blossom and wild strawberry tones, we prefer this wine chilled, or even frozen (coming soon)!  Try Cab Franc Rosé>>

Mellow Wine-Arita2. Mellow Blush (Watermelon Infused Blush)

Is there a fruit better suited for summer than watermelon? We don't think so, that's why we wouldn't think of leaving Mellow Blush off this list! This wine is crisp and juicy with tones of ripe watermelon and mixed berries – and it makes an amazing frozen cocktail!  Try Mellow Blush>>

Fruit & Wine Sorbet3. Lake Winds White (Mango-Infused White)

This wine has been a hit since its release in April of this year! Aptly named for a summertime wine, Lake Winds White is delightfully crisp with an ideal balance of tropical fruit flavors with understated apple flavors.  Try Lake Winds White>>

Sauv Blanc Citrus Sangria4. Sauvignon Blanc (Dry White)

We absolutely love sangria in the summer, and few dry whites make a better white wine sangria than our Sauvignon Blanc. It's light and crisp, offering bright citrus and herbaceous tones, lending itself perfectly to wide variety of fruits, which make experimenting even more fun!  Try Sauvignon Blanc>>

5. Pinot Gris (Dry White)

"Break by the Lake" says it all! Our best selling dry white also happens to be one of our most drinkable "anytime" wines! Crisp, floral, honey tinged flavors with a citrus kick might just make this your new go-to summer white!  Try Pinot Gris>>

Try this trick: Keep your wine chilled without watering it down by making Pinot Gris ice cubes! Simply pour wine into any ice cube tray and freeze!

Merlot and BBW6. Merlot (Dry Red)

The label says it all..."Lake George Fireworks" are one of our favorite parts of summer in the Adirondacks, but nothing beats grilling on a clear summer night. If you need the perfect wine to pair with anything that comes off of your grill, look no further than this Merlot. It's medium-bodied, soft and silky, with a touch of brown spice and herbs.  Try Merlot>>

Adirondack Winery Baco Noir7. Baco Noir (Dry Red)

We'll end this list just like any perfect summer day, with a campfire. Baco Noir is, without a doubt, our favorite dry red to sit and sip on a summer night. It's medium-bodied with the right balance of oak, tannin and light acidity with fruit-forward blackberry and plum notes. And best of all...it's back! Try Baco Noir>>
