Capital Apple and Wine Festival

The 29th Annual Capital Apple & Wine Festival is a Capital Region favorite and has something for everyone in the family! Given that the event was previously owned by Altamont Orchards, apples were and are still an integral part of the show. As you pass the entrance gate you will enter a large barn that houses the art & craft, specialty foods and apples. This serves as one of the shopping components, and an opportunity for the public to buy directly from the maker. There are also many outdoor exhibitors as you exit along the path.

A main attraction of the Festival is of course the NY State Wine, Spirits, and Cider building and connected tent ( proof of age required). Here, you will receive a commemorative tasting glass and then proceed to sample wines and spirits. They'll have over 25 NY State Wine, Spirit, and Cider producers each bringing multiple styles and bottles so hundreds of different libations to choose from. And then pick your favorites to buy and take home! They will have a holding area booth so you can shop and enjoy the show and when you're ready to leave pick up your wine. If you're buying cases we can get you to your car with a golf cart as well. This is so popular buy your ticket and skip the line!

Make sure to stop by the Adirondack Winery booth to shop for your favorite local wine!

There will be live music both days at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. On Saturday Hair of the Dog will be performing, one of todays foremost Celtic Bands.
