Fireside Reserve Braised Pork Belly

Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork Belly
- 2 tbsps Olive Oil
- 1 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Stalks Green Onion
- 2 Large Slices Fresh Ginger
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Pieces Star Anise
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Chili Oil
- 1 Bottle Fireside Reserve
Directions
1. Cube up 2 lbs pork belly
2. Add enough water to a pot to cover the pork
3. Boil for 10 min
4. Strain and reserve water
5. While pork is boiling add 1 cup of Fireside Reserve and 2 tbs olive oil into an empty pan
6. Simmer until about half of the liquid is gone
7. Add boiled pork belly to fireside reduction and caramelize for about 5 minutes on medium heat
8. Add 1/4 Fireside Reserve, 1 cup soy sauce, and 1 3/4 cup parboiled liquids strained. Mix
9. Add 2 stalks of green onions, chopped in quarters, 2 large slices of fresh ginger, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 pieces of star anise, 2 bay leaves, 4-5 garlic cloves, & 1 tsp. chili oil
10. Simmer for 2 hours then serve
