This year’s Pinot Gris brought new production techniques along with a new color to the 2020 vintage (a nice rose gold). This color was the result of a 12 hour berry maceration before crush and press, followed by a 72 hour cold soak. Aromas of lemon peel and honey are prevalent on the nose. First tastes bring you vibrant white peach with lingering notes of apple. The winemaking crew recommends enjoying this wine with fresh mozzeralla due to the neutral nature of both, or chips and salsa, specifically a peach or mango variety.
Food Pairing Notes
Enjoy this wine alongside seafood, pork, chicken, fish, creamy sauce dishes, light salads or sandwiches and strong cheeses.
