Adirondack Winery Challenges you to DRINK PINK & MAKE STRIDES!

We're not sure where the summer went, or the month of September for that matter, but with October fast-approaching, that means one thing... It's time to DRINK PINK!

Adirondack Winery has teamed up with the Warren County Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for the 3rd year in a row to bring our customers, employees, friends and families together in one united cause. Together we will Make Strides to raise more than $3,000 for breast cancer research.  We hope to raise awareness and contribute to a world without breast cancer; a disease that has affected so many people right in our own community.

October is only a week away but we thought… why wait?!  This past weekend our Drink Pink Berry Blush hit the shelves! One of our first and most charitable wines, our Drink Pink Berry Blush, a raspberry infused rosé, is not just sweet, it's generous too, having raised over $2,000 for Making Strides over the past 3 years. This year, as always, $4 from the sale of every bottle of Drink Pink Berry Blush will benefit breast cancer research now through the end of October.

In addition to our charitable wine, we will also be featuring several of our pink apparel items and accessories online and in-store, from which a portion of the sales will also be donated to Making Strides!

All of this leads up to our Drink Pink Fundraising Weekend, taking place October 16th - 18th at Adirondack Winery. Each year, we welcome the community into our Lake George Tasting Room to enjoy free samples of our Drink Pink Berry Blush, play games, take chances on raffles, enjoy Drink Pink Wine Slushies; all to raise money for breast cancer research and spread awareness.

This year we are extending this already exciting weekend and kicking it off with our very first Drink Pink Painting Party on Friday 10/16! This ticketed event will be a fun and crafty night filled with wine, chocolate & good times with friends, all for a good cause. Attendees will enjoy a wine tasting flight, chocolate pairing, courtesy of Mountain View Confections, a light food spread, 1 raffle entry, craft supplies to use during the event and a guided tutorial to paint your own wine glass that you can take home with you! All of our fundraising efforts will culminate on Sunday, October 25th as the Adirondack Winery team walks side by side in the Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk along with hundreds of other walkers, consisting of breast cancer survivors, local businesses, and members of the community who are connected in this cause. Each year we are proud to be one of the top contributors, but more importantly to be part of such a moving experience that is making a difference in our community.
